Dashwood Brewer and Phipps go live with Sequel’s broking solution

Leading Lloyd’s brokers Dashwood Brewer and Phipps are already reaping the benefits of the new broking system supplied to them by Sequel, the London-based Insurance Technology providers.

Sequel's component-based application, Eclipse Broking, is a Microsoft development, which is open and flexible, delivering ‘end to end’ processing efficiencies. It’s designed to minimise changeover disruption, ensuring consistency of delivery during implementation.

The new system, which has now gone live, delivers an integrated, flexible and secure environment that supports all of the broking processes from initial enquiry through to IBA accounting and the ever-increasing challenges of FSA compliance.

Dashwoods IT Director, Maryse Hazell, says: “Sequel have equipped us with a future-proof broking package that deals with all the requirements of a Lloyd’s broker and is flexible enough to adapt to our changing needs.”
