Novae, the Lloyd’s agency, has just bought Eclipse Annual Accounting from Sequel, the London based insurance and reinsurance software specialists, in a deal that includes software, support and implementation.
This new purchase allows Novae to upgrade from spreadsheet-based annual accounting to Sequel’s proven, modern and robust system. Novae’s new system meets its financial reporting needs and has the flexibility to adapt to changing regulatory requirements. Having looked at suppliers in the marketplace Novae decided that the only software specialist that could offer the functionality, accuracy and ease of use it needed was Sequel.
Clive Murray, Chief Information Officer at Novae comments: "We looked at a number of options and we chose Sequel and Eclipse Annual Accounting for their proven capability. We need a system that can be rapidly deployed and configured to our specifications, which Eclipse delivers."
MD of Sequel, David Smith says: “Eclipse Annual Accounting has proved itself in a number of Lloyd’s agencies. Customers have welcomed the way it helps them makes sense of their data. They particularly appreciate its transparency, auditability and accuracy in producing annualised accounting reports. The difference that modern, powerful specialist insurance software can make to a company should not be underestimated – especially at a time of increasing demands in the market place in terms of compliance and regulation.”
