Lloyd’s agency Jubilee has just bought Sequel’s Eclipse and implemented its new underwriting system in under seven weeks.
Jubilee’s CEO Theodore Agnew says: “Sequel did it for us in under seven weeks at our busiest time of the year, renewal season. We signed in late October and went live on 1st December. We chose them for their track record and their powerful underwriting software. We wanted a system that could be rapidly deployed. And we needed accurate and timely information across the organisation to meet our reporting needs. Eclipse does just that."
Jubilee bought Sequel’s Eclipse, at the end of October 2005 to handle their recently acquired personal lines business. The solution that Jubilee chose covers software and support.
David Smith, MD of Sequel says: “This is a case of Sequel making it happen for Jubilee in a matter of weeks. Speed and quality is what we’re about. The market is littered with systems that never seem to get beyond first base…where the implementations drag on for months and sometimes years. I call seven weeks record time.
"Insurance and reinsurance companies can see the business benefits of this smart approach. By choosing modern specialist software they get an immediate edge. They gain a complete and constant view of their business – and a system that makes that business much more efficient, flexible and effective. The sooner they have it, the better it is for their bottom line,” Smith concludes.
